Smartphones, phablets, and tablets can do it all — from dealing with emails to editing spreadsheets and videos. The big problem with these devices is that the on-screen keyboard takes up half of the viewing area.
Foldable keyboards are the perfect solution to a small screen; they give you space to type while keeping you mobile. Jelly Comb’s foldable keyboard is lightweight and the perfect companion for someone that prefers to leave their laptop at home.

You get over a 50% increase in keyboard size once you unfold it, giving you a typing area 9.73 inches wide. This is about the same size as the typing space on a normal PC keyboard, without a number pad. This includes a standard 63 key layout with ABS buttons.
To make the keys feel more like the action on a traditional keyboard, the spacebar goes across the fold so that you can hit it with either thumb. The thinness of the keyboard also helps to reduce wrist ache when using it for long periods on a coffee table.
One minor issue of the design is that left-handed users cannot move the touchpad to the other side of the keyboard. That said, the design is modern and clean, and most important of all, simple. The pad is about the size you would expect to see on a laptop, about 2 inches square, including the touch mouse buttons.
Jelly Comb’s Foldable Keyboard works with most operating systems, including Windows, Android, and iOS. You can choose whether to connect through a USB cable to your device or via Bluetooth making it a wireless keyboard.
The Bluetooth Mode will connect to the Bluetooth on your smart device or computer. Though if your computer does not have Bluetooth, you will have to buy a third-party USB adaptor. The touchpad will not work through Bluetooth on an Intel Computer Stick or Apple’s iOS.
The Keyboard uses Bluetooth 3.0 and will give you a range of up to 33 feet, which is more than enough for presentations. Though using Bluetooth will also make a major difference in increasing power consumption.
The Jelly Comb Wireless Keyboard comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The 140mAh battery charges from flat in around two hours through the USB port. When the battery has a full charge, it has enough power to stay on standby for an impressive 560 hours.
With a full charge, you can expect to get up to 48 hours of usage time under normal operating conditions. Though, the battery will drain faster when in Bluetooth mode and when you are using the touchpad.
Jelly Comb chose to go with a lightweight and strong aircraft aluminum case. This material is perfect for traveling. You can pack the keyboard in tight with the rest of your luggage without wondering if it will bend in half or if it will put you over the weight limit.
The double hinges also have a strong industrial feel to them, even though they are a simple design. A folding keyboard also has the benefit of using its case as a cover when closed.
-A strong yet lightweight case.
-Up to 48 hours of operating time.
-An instinctive keyboard.
-Two ways to connect, USB or Bluetooth.
-Quick to charge — under two hours.
-You cannot use it while charging.
-The touchpad does not work on older iOS or Mac OS, but it should work on iOS 13 and above.
The Jelly Comb Foldable Keyboard is a clean looking piece of kit and a perfect addition to your smart device.
The long-lasting lithium-ion battery will keep you going for a couple of days, and you can charge it on a standard USB charger. The Jelly Comb is small and lightweight enough that you can shove it into the outside pocket of your backpack, or your coat, with ease and convenience.
This would be perfect for those that spend a lot of their time using the free Wi-Fi in coffee shops. This is a good little setup for someone that wants to take the minimalist approach to their work-on-the-go lifestyle.
